Peter Arato
Principal
Peter’s extensive background in engineering and construction informs his interdisciplinary approach to design. As a technical advisor for many MVVA projects, he draws on his expertise in infrastructure creation and knowledge of landscape materials and methods. He oversees all construction administration efforts for projects based in the Brooklyn office.
Peter received a Master of Landscape Architecture from North Carolina State University, where he was awarded the ASLA Certificate of Honor and the Peter Batchelor Prize in Urban Analysis. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Peter has been a Visiting Studio Instructor at Rutgers University. He joined MVVA in 2001.
