Neil Budzinski
Associate Principal
Neil’s work at MVVA is informed by his ten years as a professional landscape photographer and his long-standing interest in rewilding the city. Neil’s focus on the habitat potential of post-industrial sites gives him a unique and expansive perspective on the technical elements of designed landscapes, such as material selection, grading, and soil design.
Neil received a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Virginia, where he earned the ASLA Student Award of Merit for his design work and an ASLA Student Collaboration Honor Award for his contributions to the Learning Barge design team. Before entering the field of landscape architecture, he earned a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Fine Arts from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec. Neil joined MVVA in 2006.
