Mikael is interested in creating experiences of discovery, respite, and escape through resilient landscapes. Mikael grew up in Grafton, New Hampshire, a rural town in the hills of New England, where they began to understand the connection between landscape and human experience. Mikael works on project administration and general office operations in MVVA’s Brooklyn office.
Mikael earned a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from Vassar College in Dutchess County, New York. Before joining the firm in 2021, they worked as an art handler at the Museum of Modern Art.
