Max contributes to site layout and grading as well as detailed design of site furnishings, masonry, and water features. He has a talent for integrating material sourcing and fabrication coordination within the design development phase. He is skilled at producing both physical and digital models, from studies to detail mockups, to evaluate design elements. Max has devoted much of his time at MVVA to playground and water-play design.

Max earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Cornell University. Prior to joining MVVA in 2020, Max worked as a landscaper in Rochester, New York, specializing in residential landscapes.
