
Mark Hirschbeck
Senior Associate
An expert in project management and detailed site design, Mark handles material selection and grading as well as construction documentation for a variety of park, campus, and residential landscapes. He also plays an important role in the MVVA office, helping to develop workflows and running seminars on 3D modeling and AutoCAD for junior staff. Growing up in Buffalo, New York, he rowed crew in high school on Lake Erie, giving him a love and understanding of land-water edge dynamics.
Mark received a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from Cornell University with distinction in research for his thesis work. While in school, he was a Landscape Architecture Foundation Olmsted Scholar and recipient of an ASLA Distinguished Student Honor Award. Mark joined MVVA in 2017.
