
Jory Harper
Studio Assistant
A former street artist and urban forager, Jory is inspired by instigator species and microscale resistance to extractive ideologies. Jory provides support for general office operations and assists with administrative and project-related tasks. Raised in the Cache la Poudre watershed region in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, their perspective is informed by experiences in rewilding, folk herbalism, and community-led placemaking.
Jory received a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a concentration in sustainability from Oregon’s Portland State University. They hold certification as an Urban Permaculture Designer through City Repair and Living Future Accreditation through the International Living Future Institute. Prior to joining MVVA in 2021, Jory worked in advocacy at the National University of Natural Medicine and Call to Safety.
