Jason contributes to all phases of the MVVA design process and specializes in planting design. Jason leads plant selection and rare species cultivation for many MVVA projects and contributes a wide breadth of knowledge in botanical structures, horticultural soils, and ecological processes that is invaluable to MVVA’s design approach. Jason's affection for plants and landscape comes from a history of digging in the deep soil of the Midwest.
Jason received a Master of Landscape Architecture from Harvard University's Graduate School of Design. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Kansas City Art Institute, where he studied sculpture. Jason joined MVVA in 2003.
