Originally from the village of Brewster in rural Putnam County, New York, Jimmy holds a deep appreciation of the outdoors. Fittingly, ecology and soil science serve as guiding forces in his design work. Jimmy is also passionate about the technical demands of landscape architecture, from site engineering and planting design to construction documentation and administration.

Jimmy received a Master of Landscape Architecture with a concentration in Horticulture from Cornell University. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. Prior to his start at MVVA in 2021, Jimmy gained valuable experience as a Project Manager for a residential home builder in Northern Virginia and as a Research Assistant studying land use in Upstate New York.
