Jack Ohly
Associate Principal
Jack draws on his background in fine arts as well as a deep knowledge of plants and materials to guide projects from concept design through construction. He has led regional-scale conceptual efforts as well as small garden projects at MVVA, working closely with clients and collaborators to develop a vision and honing designs through a process of continual hand drawing and model making. His work is informed by his past lives as a climbing arborist, musician, farmer, and woodworker.
Jack received a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was awarded the Faculty Medal and the National Olmsted Scholar Award. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts from Brown University. Jack joined MVVA in 2012.
