
Herb Sweeney IV
Principal
Herb’s expertise lies in the integration of environmentally sustainable technologies into landscape and urban design. His interest in sustainability led him to become certified as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accredited professional.
Herb earned a Bachelor of Arts in Landscape Architecture from the Pennsylvania State University, where he was awarded the ASLA Certificate of Merit. He was the 2012 recipient of the Alumni Achievement Award from the Penn State Alumni Association. Herb was an integral part of the MVVA teams who were awarded the ASLA Award of Honor for the Boston Children’s Museum and the ASLA Award of Excellence (the highest honor given by the association) for the Wellesley College Alumnae Valley Landscape Renewal. Herb joined MVVA in 2003.
