The allure of designing with living materials led Nyunny from architecture and design technology to a successful career in creating engaging landscapes and play spaces. Nyunny contributes to all aspects of the design process and has served as project manager for Maggie Daley Park in Chicago, the NYU 2031 Master Plan, and the School of Computer Science Complex at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Nyunny is also MVVA’s playground specialist, leading the design and code review for numerous projects. As part of her research for MVVA, Nyunny has traveled throughout Europe and Asia studying comparative playground design.

Nyunny received a Master of Fine Arts in Design and Technology and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture from the Parsons School of Design. She also studied Urban Sustainability at the Rotterdam Academy of Architecture and Urban Design in the Netherlands. Nyunny joined MVVA in 2004.
