Greg was born and raised in Lewiston, Maine, where he learned to pay close attention to his environment while fly fishing, canoeing, and hiking in the wilderness around Kennebago Lake. Greg is a passionate illustrator with experience in drafting, geographic analysis, and modelmaking.
Greg earned a Bachelor of Arts in Furniture Design from Savannah College of Art and Design and the Lacoste School of Arts, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture with a minor in Global Environmental Sustainability from Colorado State University. Greg won the 2020 ASLA National Merit Award as well as the 2017 Magnolia House Prize at Colorado State. SOURCE, the university’s digital media hub, profiled Greg in 2018. Prior to his start at MVVA in 2021, Greg was a fine woodworker for BDDW, a boutique arts and crafts studio in New York City. He also served in the U.S. military as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Team Leader and Technician.
