Hailing from Dedham, Massachusetts, Eric supports project research and administration efforts in the Brooklyn office. His background in forest ecology and silviculture shapes his interest in how designed landscapes can work in concert with living systems and long-term ecological processes.

Eric earned a Bachelor of Science in environment and sustainability from Cornell University, where he served as a teaching assistant in courses on traditional ecological knowledge and wildlife crossings design. Before joining MVVA, Eric nurtured his passion for writing as an editor of The Cornell Daily Sun and studied nutrient flows in forests as a research assistant in Ithaca, New York and Freiburg, Germany.
