Elspeth manages planting design and coordination on several projects with an interest in how people experience landscapes and the teams who construct them. In addition to the graphic representation of design ideas, she has a detailed eye for conducting site reviews. Elspeth also implements the summer internship and staff onboarding programs at the office.

Elspeth received a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Toronto, where she worked as a Teaching and Research Assistant, supporting projects at the Centre for Landscape Research's Platform for Resilient Urbanism, and served on the delivery team for USACE’s Engineering with Nature and Landscape Architecture project. She received a University of Toronto Fellowship for the Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design, and the Professor Jeffrey A. Stinson Endowment and the Student Leadership Award upon graduation. Elspeth earned a Bachelor of Environmental Studies with a minor in Fine Arts at the University of Waterloo in Ontario. She joined MVVA full-time in 2020.
