Having practiced landscape architecture for nearly 20 years, Chris has designed and managed a variety of projects, from residential gardens to public parks and university campuses, in every phase of design. Chris particularly enjoys carrying projects through construction and exploring new materials through research and construction technologies. He has worked with a wide range of design consultants, including architects, engineers, ecologists, urban designers, soil experts, hydrologists, and builders.

In addition to being a licensed landscape architect, Chris is a furniture designer and builder, which informs his practical approach to construction detailing and provides the necessary intuition when shifting scales between master planning and detail design. His interests are rooted in working with natural materials and their local and regional influence on design. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Landscape Architecture from Harvard University's Graduate School of Design.
